Explanation of the terms in the Iceberg of Final Fantasy XIV secrets and conspiracies.

Greetings my fellows Final Fantasy XIV players. My name is Sirocco "Shameless Flirter" Occoris, and I have been playing FF14 since the first day of 2.0 Early Access (so almost 7 years) and never actually stopped playing. My /playtime is 1253 days and with the permission of u/papayatulus to use his iceberg picture as the reference I will try to explain all the terms that are on that. Well boys and girls, I'm officially hopping off the hype train.

It's been a crazy ride with you all. For years I've waited and checked the subreddit (often monthly) for updates. For, what none of us knew at the time, the 23rd of September so we could finally return and enjoy all of the things we'd seen screenshots of as they'd slowly trickled from Wollays twitter feed.
After 20 hours now of playing, I'm sad to say the game just isn't for me anymore. I've never been on such an emotional roller-coaster with any game as Cube World 2.0 - between loving it one minute and feeling deeply unsatisfied the next. This is kind of a review, kind of a rant and kind of an overall first-impressions-experience-thingy.
For the first hour I loved it, even getting my arse kicked by anything and everything had me ravenous to find better gear, and improve my warrior enough to get those dickhead radish-dudes back for murdering me like I was just some ambient mob in an MMO. The skills, despite doing no damage at first, felt clean and fun, especially the spin2win whirlwind ability.
Then I realised I wasn't getting exp when I was killing what I could manage - and there was seemingly no key to open the skilltree. Oh, right, it's gone. Stomach-sinking feeling.
Then I found a legendary shield sitting in a hollow log by a river. Awesome moment - maybe it's worth all this tedious walking and avoiding most mobs if I'm discovering awesome secrets along the way.
Then, I crossed a border accidentally. All my shit is gone. My brain went into overdrive. "Did I progress far enough to activate a death-penalty system and lose/break all my gear when I died last time?" No, that can't be right, there are no levels (or so I thought.) Oh, I'm back in the last zone and everything is back! ...WAIT? IT ONLY WORKS IN THAT ZONE??? Back to gut-wrenching disappointment.
At this point, it was time to start checking the forums in case I was missing something. People were in uproar. Only days before I'd been saying that we should be cautiously pessimistic about what to expect, but even I expected it to take weeks or even months before people started feeling unhappy with the content. This was the same day.
But then I noticed levels actually were still in the game - just tied to artifacts instead of exp. Happy again, not quite what I'd have expected but I like when a dev pushes unorthodox levelling mechanics sometimes. Screw the forums and lets find some artifacts.
By this point I'd found a few key items. I was finding it a lot easier to traverse the world. I was finding the gliding a bit weird (nose-diving when you first open it, losing a huge amount of height instantly, feels very bad) and it was never going to be BotW-levels of fun to explore the world, but I was happy enough. I was also seeing some cool shit now - finding demonic portals and wizard towers. I was feeling hyped again.
Finally, I found the harp and was able to raid my first dungeon. It was some abandoned mine with, supposedly, some magical vase deep inside. Very exciting. I was a little underwhelmed when I got inside - most of the mobs were pretty standard. Some of the designs were cool, like the devourer or crawler mobs. I fought a minotaur which was awesome, even if he did look a little goofy being so huge and barely fitting below the ceiling. I was feeling good about it.
Then, I realised the room hazards were feeling a little underwhelming - long falls and lava pits which only ever really required cautious steps and jumping. I was hoping to see some classic timing-oriented traps like wall-mounted fire-spitters, spike traps, pressure-plates that were somewhat obscure or pendulous swinging axes. Another weird moment was entering a branching room and finding a chest with 43 gold coins in it - the victorious tune was already over-staying its welcome by this point and I was starting to feel a bit weird about the whole thing. It started feeling like rewards for rewards sake rather than truly meaningful. A little 3-beat happy chime that lasts a couple of seconds would have suited the moment way better.
None-the-less, I got to the final room and there it was. The final chest - although it looked exactly the same as the one with gold in it. I got the vase and once again the same victory music started playing, like I was about to thank my parents for getting me here. The fact that the moment felt the same as the bag of gold not 5 minutes earlier was slightly deflating but no biggie.
I hit the B key. Boom, level 2 motherfuckers, nice. Hit the artifact tab. What will this ancient vase, lost to time and talked about on old stone slabs tucked away among the hills and mountains, give me?
"10% faster gliding"
Okay. Thanks vase, I think?
I teleported right out to a nearby angel statue and climbed the nearest, tallest mountain I could find. I hopped off. Instant nose-dive again (fuck you glider) but off I flew. The speed-increase was virtually imperceptible. I landed, swallowed the bullshit my frustrated brain was telling me and continued playing.
I walked to the nearby village and decided, after finding a couple more artifacts, it was soon time to move on. By this point I'd heard about + gear, so I'd been fucking around in the first area murdering every single purple or yellow mob I could find (even the Collies, want an omelette then you gotta break some eggs.) I was pretty happy to find out that all of my efforts gathering loot wouldn't be totally wasted - even though, by upsetting the RNG god at some point, all items I was looting were lacking that elusive + on the end. I was getting peeved scrolling through lists and lists of gear names with no visible way of sorting. So many ways to fix this, such as "sort by names including +" or a different coloured symbol (like a red or orange + independent of rarity) or even a universal prefix that is easy to spot, like "unbreakable" or "eternal" (bonus points if it's in red or orange too)
Finally, I found a crafting recipe for a yellow greatsword with + on the end. Awesome. "50 irons cubes" - not awesome. By this point I had diamonds falling out of my arse, got lucky with nodes I guess, but cubes I was only rocking like 30. Off I went to every mountain range in sight and mined a bunch. Half-an-hour later I had my sword and even some extra cubes to jazz it up - kinda looks like a chainsaw blade now. Which looked sick ofc.
Finally, hit up my boi the flightmaster and rode an eagle to an ocean village. Got the boat right away just sitting there. Thank fuck for that. Talked to a bunch of NPCs so I could get some early markers and hit the waves. It felt AMAZING. The tune was great, the default sail speed was fast enough that I could get between objectives in good pace while still feeling like I was in a god damn OCEAN. The music was giving me some serious windwaker vibes, probably my childhood favourite LoZ game and the ocean theme always gives me goosebumps to this day as a grown man.
Found a tree on an island at night that was had hooting coming from it. OWL PET PLS. After going Edward Scissorhands on the tree and chopping pretty much every leaf I could reach, there was no owl in there. I was kinda sad but no biggie. Just an ambient noise tied to that spawned tree at night I guess.
It was at this point that I took a look at the map and realised that all of the items I had collected were nearly identical to the last zone. A few of which I'd only used a couple times, like the bird whistle, for pretty lame loot like bags of gold or half-decent gear (which wasn't + and was effectively worthless by this point in the region anyway). I'd saved tens of gnomes from cauldrons or shackles. Already spoken to probably over a hundred NPCs, most of which would just pat me on the back for already finding what they'd been spawned to tell me to find. None of my rescues or conversations stood out - in fact, I'd already started hitting E as quickly as possible and just listened for the sound-effect for discovering an objective. It felt like there was 20+ races (even fucking mantis people) but no talk of their culture, their beliefs or how they felt about their own or other races/factions. Just Fo4 style "settlement needs our help" talk that you quickly tuned out. Or the occasional compliment on your shoes.
The loot I'd painstakingly gathered was soon to be obsolete and barely worth selling for the gold I'd get. The 4.5k gold I'd gathered seemed to have little use and didn't really feel like the meta-progression between regions I was hoping it would turn out to be. I knew it would never replace exp or skilltrees but it was a compromise I might learn to like, even love, if it had plenty of uses - even a cosmetic NPC shop might have been something worth working towards with gold-hoarding. Anything at this point. But it was clearly not to be.
Which leads me to this point. I just feel exhausted with this game. Not even that I've burnt out from playing (I've binged some open-world sandboxes wayyyy longer than this without ever feeling burnt-out, minecraft is probably the most relatable) but I just feel as though I've already seen it all. Even the current carrot-on-a-stick for many of us is the idea that there are huge capital cities somewhere out there, but it's just not exciting enough to keep me hooked.
We keep being told to not make early assumptions, and that's fair as many of us have misunderstood mechanics already and found them to be better as time went on, but there's only so much a poor first-impression can be pushed through and assumed/wished promises can achieve. I fell in love with the alpha so quickly despite the many flaws it admittedly had, whereas this beta just feels like me wanting to love something despite all the red-flags that led us to this point. Even rose-tinted glasses can't pull me through this gameplay loop anymore.
Let me be clear, I don't regret buying cubeworld at all. For the money, I've had my worth and then some. I also don't think Wollay owes us the game we all wanted. I'm really glad he's fixing bugs and exploits already. I remember the outrage when he patched the retreat-glider glitch in alpha and me being one of the few who disagreed with the community sentiment at the time that Wollay was "anti-fun" and ruining the game - because I didn't think it was healthy to penalise other classes who couldn't access that travel-type if the game hoped to have any longevity, especially in multiplayer. Same with the wall-jumping exploit, it effectively makes climbing boots a complete meme of an item - although I would have still preferred steadily building my climbing skill or stamina with skillpoints rather than going from weakling noodle-arm beta to alpha climbing machine (excuse the semi-intentional pun) with infinite stamina after picking up a single item.
I truly believed in the vision of Cube World. I also truly believed it would get released one day, one way or another, and that we'd get that enigmatic, wondrous patch. I know Wollay has took some serious flak over the years, and not necessarily undeserved (though actual abuse and threats are dumb, it's a fucking game for the twisted 1% who do that) but I thought he'd at least have a grasp of what the vocal, supportive parts of the community loved about his game. I hoped he knew why we all held on for so long despite very little real communication or tangible reasons to have hope.
Alas, I can't get behind what Cube World is in 2.0. The flaws truly do feel anti-fun now, and not just in a "I can't cross the entire map in 10 seconds boohoo" kind of way. So much feels implemented (or stripped away) in what I can only call a corrupted vision, born from overthinking every mechanic or idea and refusing to acknowledge the views of the community to temper this destructive ruminating. I feel deeply disappointed not because of entitlement, because I've had my fun over the years and would pay the price again for the hours and hours of enjoyment I've sank into CW alpha. Even 20 hours into the beta isn't altogether horrible value for money and I've had some great moments in there, like the aforementioned initial ocean exploration. No, I'm sad because this game has fallen so far from the pedestal and I honestly can't even say it was due to the toxic community, or the hype, or a rushed development, or as a cash-grab. None of these scapegoats we can normally use to justify and comprehend this kind of nonsense nowadays. I'm sad because I'm passionate about the game, but I feel that passion must finally fizzle out so I can have closure and move on - albeit feeling no less defeated by this outcome.
Other games will come, some will exceed expectations and others will fall short as well. I just hoped, after 6 years and all the amazing work it seemed Wollay was doing, this time would be different.
Maybe in the future he'll rework it again to be more like what many of us hoped for, but I'm not holding my breath and frankly it's an unhealthy expectation to have anymore. I wish him all the best and hope he makes a tonne of cash after the 30th, but sadly I don't think I'll be checking his twitter page anymore, as I have done with bated breath for over half a decade before.

Glad to be getting some discussion going and hope some of it gets back (constructively) to Wollay and Pixxie. Like I said, I'm bowing out but maybe it's not a lost cause if they listen to and implement even a fraction of what people are asking for. That being said, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm acutely aware that us beta-testers are only being invited to provide bug reports, issues and crashes on their designated pinned discussion on Steam - nowhere have I seen either dev requesting our suggestions or constructive criticisms for them to consider. Just to set the expectation bar where it ought to be.

Skyrim Mod Help

Okay, I've literally went everywhere to find a solution, but at this point I think the mod developers are overwhelmed.
So
I'm coming, on a fresh new Reddit account made just five minutes ago to list off every single glitch in the hopes that the internet hive mind (1) has a solution and (2) can let me know about future glitches and how to fix them. Before I begin, I'll run off the mod list:
Now for the glitches. I'm putting in parenthesis how I handled some of them or if they are still active.

Edit: Now my biggest problem is the vampirism. Transforming into a Vampire Lord triggers universal hostility even among other Vampire NPCs, and it's the only way I can interact with them.

Edit: So, I got a tip to remove Sacrosanct. Apparently it was causing some config issues with the Patch for my race. Now my Skyrim game won't even open. I don't know what to do at this point.

Edit: removal of a lot of my graphics enhancement mods, as well as some cosmetic ones, fixed a lot of my problems. I'll see if the Lord Vampirism is fixed.

WoW Classic Demo feedback: Bugs and Legion mechanics in the demo (Help me fill out the list to inform Blizzard about what we have experienced)

Making a post here to try and summarise all the bugs and legion mechanics in the demo. This is not ment do bash on the Classic Demo, its only ment for constructive feedback. WoW Classic devs wants the community to help point out wrongs, so im making this thread to try and find all of them. But i need your help, so comment down below and i will edit in more bulletpoints in this post. All this information is combined from earlier posts on this subreddit, youtube videos, my own experiences and friends experiences with the demo:
